  • The SASP team was recognized for their outstanding achievements in the virtual match series by Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation with a $10,000 contribution to the GYG endowment account.  Congratulations to the team for an outstanding season!
  • Gaston Young Guns held the annual Sponsorship Shoot on Thursday, September 8th at 6:00 p.m. at the Gastonia Skeet and Trap Range.  We invited potential sponsors out to see our mission statement in action and to shoot with the youth.  Attendees met the phenomenal group of volunteer coaches and leaders that work with over 40 youth on two skeet teams and one SASP (pistol and rifle) team.  Thank you to those who have committed to sponsoring the 2017 GYG team!
